The plan was to get the dagger (favorite weapon), amass a large quantity of wafers, get the cape and go hunting.
I failed on all three. Someone had exactly the same plan as me and was faster. After spending 5 fruitless minutes in the graveyard looking for a the cross but finding somelse had that too the plan was in shards.
It seemed everyone was running everywhere. At first no-one was fighting; just trying to find weapons - anything. I finally found a pick in an unexpected place, (thanks wizards!), and felt a little safer. A quick Where spell revealed several players extreemly well equipped - 'Someone' had a boat and wafers which meant they'd already visited the Isle. Yikes!
I'd just about decided to hole up for a while when I was attacked by 'someone'. The VIS spell didnt work - does it ever?! - I had no chance so I fled on 20 hoping to hide in the graveyard, but I never made it. I think I was attacked twice more before dying. Very professional. It turned out to have been Winterdawn the eventual winner - just my luck!
I spent the rest of the night sipping tea with ever an increasing number of dead sorcerors. Still a very good night - next time I'll have a diferent plan!
