In general staying close to the road and above ground is safest. The perils
and rewards start stacking up the further away you get. The major exception
to this is the keep which is right next to the road, and very nasty.

| Pine Forest | Nice, quiet and empty. |
| Graveyard | Something nasty in the middle, if you can get there. |
| Dense Forest | You can hide from spells here, though you may be bothered by wandering mobiles if you fall asleep. |
| Railway Line | What can I say? It's a railway line. Well, maybe a train will run you down. |
| Inn | Full of treasure, empty of threat. |
| Cave | Well, there is an Ogre, but he won't chase you. |
| Formal Gardens | Some passive mammals wander about the empty landscape. |
| Maze of Hedges | You can get lost, but the bees are sweet. |
| Deerpark & Luscious Wood | See Formal Gardens. |
| North Mountain | Well, there's a cave that can kill you in an instant. But you're too careful to wander in there, aren't you? |
| Mines | You can only kill yourself, unless you happen to wander down to the Dwarfen Realm. |
| Woodsman's Hut | It's a hut. |
| Il Castellare | Packed with goodies. |
| Monastery | Help! Help! The mighty Piglet might kill me! |
| Sea & Galleon | Sharks and drowning. |
| Scriptorium | All those books, drive a man mad. |
| Under the Well | Slimy things seek you in the dark. |
| Yew | There's this big dog, right? |
| Sanctum | Intruders are not welcome. |
| GFC | Dark glasses might be handy here. |
| Goblin Realm | Um, goblins? |
| Keep | Full to the top with a fantastical menagerie. |
| Dwarfen Kingdom | The ordinary dwarfs are all right, but it's a military dictatorship and anyone in the army is very bad news. |
| Dragon's Isle | The one, the only, the EVIL DRAGON! |
| Evil Wood | The natives are not friendly and they aren't rich. |
